The MSI EC500 equipment is a pneumatically operated clean
room ready unit intended for use as R&D or low to high
volume electrode crimping. The EC500 creates a uniform cylindrical
crimp in multiple locations at once along an electrode.
This uniform crimp creates high retention forces of the
electrode on the lead body while providing low connection
impedance. The MSI EC500 equipment simply and precisely
affixes the electrode(s) onto the lead with a repeatable
force, spacing and geometry.
