The transcatheter heart valve crimping tools from Machine Solutions Inc. These minimally invasive procedures like transcatheter aortic valve replacement (tAVR) and transcatheter pulmonary valve replacement (tPVR) are a natural extension of current minimally invasive stent placement procedures.
Living tissue replacement procedures are unique due to the tissue fragility that needs to be crimped and loaded in the catheterization laboratory, during the procedure, rather than at the device manufacturer. The HV crimping mechanisms from MSI are designed to easily and precisely reduce the diameter of large stents that have living tissue attached while operating partially submerged in a saline solution if necessary, to preserve the tissue integrity.
