The
MSI SW300S equipment is PLC controlled and
can be used with catheter products, like electrophysiology
catheters, requiring up to 20 bands to be
swaged in sequence. This equipment offers
superior features compared to products currently
available. These include shorter cycle time,
significantly reduced noise level and improved
cleanliness.
The MSI SW300S swaging equipment will automatically
and accurately position and swage up to 20
marker bands along a catheter shaft. The operator
simply places the bands on the shaft, inserts
the shaft into the machine, the machine then
independently positions and swages the marker
bands precisely and automatically to the parameters
that were input into the PLC controller.
