The MSI SW500S manufacturing
equipment is PLC controlled intended
for use with either PTCA or PTA catheter products
based on customer specified diameter and length
requirements. This equipment integrates our
proprietary, automatic band positioning feature.
The positioning feature utilizes a laser thru-beam
sensor system with specially designed precision
rollers to achieve accurate band positioning.
The MSI SW500S swaging
equipment will eliminate the need of operator
positioning
or pre-reduction prior to the swaging process.
The operator simply places the bands on the
shaft, inserts the shaft into the machine,
the machine then independently positions and
swages the marker bands precisely and automatically
to the parameters that were input into the
PLC controller.
