The MSI SW575S Marker Band Swaging Equipment
automatically positions and swages marker bands
within tight manufacturing tolerances. Intended for
high volume PTCA product manufacturing, the pick
and place loading option allows for continuous,
automated processing. The profile driven SW575S
includes an integrated PLC control system with touch
screen interface for easy process development and
quick product changeover.
The SW575S laser sensor and servo actuator systems precisely position marker bands. The pick and place head delivers product from an auto-loading tray holding up to 100 pieces of PTCA product. Rejected product is automatically set aside in a separate tray to allow for continuous processing. The SW575S utilizes the MSI Flexure Dieplate to prevent unwanted particulate and reduce noise in the cleanroom.
