The
MSI SC500 stent crimping equipment is intended
for use as an R&D tool, for pilot production
or low volume manufacturing of PTCA balloon
expandable stents and stent graft products.
Utilizing the proprietary MSI segmental compression
mechanism the SC500 provides optimized stent
profiles and crimp uniformity without the deleterious
effects of shear forces on the underlying substrate
and can be used with bare metal, coated or drug
eluting stent products.
