The MSI LB1000 Laser Bonding Equipment provides superior process control and feedback for proximal and distal balloon bonding, soft tip attachment, and other catheter and tube bonding applications. The profile driven LB1000 includes an integrated PLC control system with touch screen interface for easy process development and product changeover. This equipment utilizes a CO2 laser with closed loop temperature and laser power control for repeatable results.
The LB1000 features automated drop-in product handling. Product placed into the tray is automatically grasped in proximal and distal rotational fixtures. The integrated vision assist system allows the operator to easily align the bondsite to the laser beam. An optional automated bond site alignment system is also available for more consistent results.
