The MSI TB710 is a semi-automated solution for creating butt or lap bonds between like polymer tubing or shrinking/laminating short lengths of tubing. The equipment features an automated handling system with adjustable stops which gives it the ability to present the product to the heat zone and traverse within it to a set dwell time. This assures manufactures of repeatable and consistent thermal bonds throughout a production run by eliminating operator dependence.
The TB710 is equipped with our Thinline™ thermal nozzle with 360° product coverage that provides superior uniform heating characteristics and minimizes the incidence of hot or cold spots during the bonding process. There is also integrated Teflon shielding which is configurable to protect areas of tubing that should not be exposed to heat.
The
MSI TB710 features:
• Automated traverse of bond site within heat zone.
• Custom handling and product shielding configurations available.
• Heating capabilities to 750° F.
• Improved repeatability and accuracy.
