The MSI
Thermal Bonding machines are semi-automated
solutions to providing even thermal temperature
controls during balloon bonding applications.
Equipment features an automated handling
system, which precisely moves the catheter
into the heat zone and remains there for
a set dwell time. This assures manufactures
of repeatable and consistent thermal bonds
throughout a production run by eliminating
operator dependence.
MSI features three different machines:
Distal Tip Bonder, Proximal Bonder and a
Combined Distal/Proximal Bonder. All machines
features our Thinline™ thermal nozzle
with 360° product coverage that provides
superior uniform heating characteristics
and minimizes the incidence of hot or cold
spots during the bonding process. All are
ideal for shrink wrap applications.
The
